"A human voice in a very tricky time"

About: North Middlesex Hospital / Ophthalmology Northwick Park Hospital St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

(as the patient),

On leaving the Trauma Ward at St Mary's I was referred to Northwick Park and my heart sank as I was referred onto the Central Middlesex Ophthalmology Department.

On my arrival home I was contacted by Vicki Miss Lee's secretary. She made me a speedy appointment with Miss Lee, time was important to have a chance of correcting my sight, and dealt with my questions and confusion with good humour, such a relief, and efficiency.

Following my appointment with Miss Lee I was admitted to Northwick Park for surgery and I have no doubt that but for these two individuals my sight would have been severely compromised. A huge thank you to Vicki a human voice in a very tricky time for me and for the efficiency of Miss Lee.
