About: Charles Clifford Dental Hospital

I was listed for surgery to remove a small section of jawbone and an impacted, partially erupted wisdom tooth on 3rd Jult 2019.the initial appointment to assess me was timely, thorough and concluded with a discussion with the consultant who would be responsible for my care. Including pre-operative assessment, this was all completed in about an hour.

My post surgical experience has been that, although there have been some complications needing further care, these were not unexpected and I wanted to comment that on each return visits I have seen my named consultant. Also very notable was the fact that on each occasion I was seen within a few minutes of my appointment time. At no point was I delayed more than 10 minutes. That contrasts sharply with othe STH clinics that I have attended. All the clinical staff introduced themselves and were polite, helpful and friendly. I have had the opportunity to discuss what further treatment might be required and have been fully involved in all decisions. The oral surgery department is an example of excellent service, that other services across the Trust could learn from.

I am willing to provide further detail if that would help feeding back to the consultant team involved.
