About: Pilgrim Hospital / Day Surgery Unit

(as a service user),

Went in for surgery on my arm in the day unit, all staff in ward and theatre were very professional and friendly, treating me with respect, understanding my needs and always reassuring me at every stage.  

Surgeon was exceptional along with all his team, anethatist was excellent, explaining everything to me.   Day surgery ward staff really looked after me well, which I would like to say a big thank you to, all of this taking place whilst the unit was working at maximum capacity, well done to all of you and thanks, 👍

Your posting was lovely to read; thank you very much for telling us. The team at the day surgery unit clearly did an excellent job and I know they will be just as pleased to read your feedback.

Coming into hospital for any procedure is daunting and it was good to hear how the team considered every aspect of care needs. I hope you are recovering well; thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
