We just wanted to share our wonderful experience within Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth Maternity Hospital. We were booked in for our planned c section. What a lovely experience the full day was and the after-care after our daughter was delivered was outstanding. We personally would like to thank the team
Within the operating theatre, I was nervous about the procedure and I was immediately calmed by the chatting in theatre. George was great in keeping my mind off looking around and there was also the amazing team
Around with Solomon, Harry, Judith and our lovely surgeon () our daughter was delivered quickly
And we were kept informed of how things were going. After she was delivered and Judith had done her checks my husband was invited to go over while she was weighed etc which was a lovely gesture. We were then returned to recovery and I was vomiting for a few hours, all the time Judith was very attentive and brought me extra biscuits and extra medication to help settle it. We had an emergency c section with our son three years previous and the experience this time was fantastic. We wanted to
Share our experience as this team
Really do deserve the recognition. Cannot recommend this hospital enough, from consultant to all the midwifes and the lady’s who take bloods etc everyone has been lovely and very helpful.
"Everyone has been lovely"
