"Volunteering"

About: Bingham Children's Centre

(as a volunteer/advocate),

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Bingham and Abbey & Lady Bay Children’s Centres for making my volunteering experience amazing, by being involved in, and seeing the positive effect volunteering has on children and their families was extremely rewarding. Volunteering gave me the opportunity to develop new skills and increased my self-confidence in unfamiliar situations. My confidence grew enough to fill in job application forms and attend interviews, one of which was successful, enabling me to continue and develop in the career I love.

Thank you all again

HI Rushcliffe Viol

Thanks for letting us know the positive impact volunteering has had on not only children and families lives, but also your life.

We try our best to make sure children's centres have the infrastructure to be able to support and develop our volunteers.

Not only is this important to the children and families we see, but also to you as volunteers, to ensure you feel supported and valued as a key member of our children's centre team.

Without our fantastic volunteers we would not be able to offer half the service we currently, do and so untimatley we wouldnt be able to offer such a personalised service which is so valued by our communities.

Really appreciate your time, commitment and effort and I wish you all the very best in your new job.
