"Sigmoidoscopy"

I recently had a camera up my rear end and the whole process was brutal and over in under 2 minutes.

I was told that has and air would be available if needed and it wasn't. I was told that they found nothing but the report says I have haemorrhoids that are bleeding. The person that did the process was rough and aggressive and was pushing my legs straight whilst I was trying to get comfortable on the bed and the total experience from him was very poor and felt rushed. He showed no care towards what he was doing and if you cared to flinch he just forced the camera harder.

I am still painful and tender at my bum over a week after the examination.

If you have to have one of these examinations and he is doing it I would decline and ask for somebody else.

The ward itself was clean and ok and the nursing staff were fine and I have no complaints about them.
