I attended the ENT clinic today for an emergency audiogram, having suffered sudden senorineural hearing loss. There was a wait but I was eventually seen by a senior audiologist who went out of her way to help me. She determined that I have lost a great deal of my hearing, and immediately recommended hearing aids, going so far as to telephone down to hearing services on my behalf to get me seen as soon as possible. I was very happy with how she treated me. I would suggest in general that the TV in the waiting room, while a good idea for a clinic with long waiting times, should probably have subtitles!
