"She was lovely and I was very pleased."

About: Arrol Park Resource Centre / Chiropody/Podiatry

(as the patient),

I went to a podiatry appointment at Ayr hospital and I saw Shirley. She was lovely and I was very pleased.

The only thing I think could be improved is that if I needed an appointment again, I need to start at the beginning and go through my GP. It would be good to have the option to be able to phone up and ask about something but you can’t do that

Dear oscarpe47,

Thank you for taking the time to write a lovely posting of the Podiatry experience and treatment you had with Shirley and which I will ensure I pass on.

In relation to your question of how to access Podiatry services, we also accept self referrals which you can pick up from your local health centre or GP practice.

In addition, you can also access NHS Ayrshire & Arran public facing website and under services click on Allied Health Professions - Podiatry. There you will find information and useful links which you may find to be helpful and supportive. I have attached these links below for your information.
