"Outpatient IBD clinic"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I recently had an appointment for my regular IBD review. Although the clinic was running slightly behind time, the staff in clinic kept me up to date with the delay and how long I would be expected to wait. The consultant, Dr Pollock was professional, reassuring and friendly as always and I trust her to look after me well. I was then due to have bloods taken, and Audrey was brilliant. Chatting to me to distract me from the procedure and I didn't feel a thing. Staff like this make hospital appointments less stressful and are a credit to NHS Fife. Thank you.

Dear Nervousmum

Thank you for taking the time to provide positive feedback on Care Opinion with regards to your recent IBD review appointment. I am glad you felt confident in the care of Dr Pollock and felt reassured and safe whilst in the care of the nursing staff.

I will pass on your positive comments to the outpatient team and make special mention to Dr Pollock and Audrey.

Thank you.
