(as the patient),

I recently underwent a minor op to have a lesion removed from my face and the care I received was excellent. The team caring for me, Mr Waterston, Deborah, Jo and Naomi were all reassuring and although I work in the NHS, they didn't assume I was familiar with the procedure, or how it felt to be 'on the other side'. It was as an enjoyable experience as it could be  having surgery, and the entire team were professional and an example of what is good in the NHS. Thank you for such a positive experience.
