"Now i know the classification of multiple scerosis"

About: Edgware Community Hospital / Neurological Rehabilitation Centre Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

(as a student nurse),

I am a first-year student nurse doing a placement in a neurological rehabilitation centre. I went to a multiple sclerosis clinic with a multiple sclerosis specialist nurse. The nurse explained four classifications of Ms which are relapsing/remitting, secondary progressive, primary progressive and benign MS. I even looked at the inflamed scan of the brain for newly diagnosed patients. I sat there listening to the patient individual progression of there Ms and how it started. All my questions were answered by the registrar and the nurse which made my knowledge of Ms increase and I felt involved as part of their team. Thank you MS nurse.
