"Wonderful staff who put my mind at ease"

I was admitted to Same Day Admissions to have a growth removed from my bladder. I was extremely nervous about the operation, especially the anesthesia however from the start I was kept fully informed by the wonderful staff who put my mind at ease. It was decided that I would be given a spinal anesthetic and I was conscious throughout the whole procedure. The staff in the operating room could not have been nicer or more helpful and made me feel completely safe and protected. I was very fortunate as the surgeon informed me that nothing needed to be done and that my bladder was clear. I would like to thank my urologist surgeon, Ms Ramsey, the whole surgical team, the Same Day Admission staff, my recovery nurse Hayley and the staff on Ward 6 especially Nurses Stephanie and Jacqueline for their kind attention and cheerful nature.
