First, I will start with the negative part of my review. I contacted 111 who managed to get an appointment booked for me at Doncaster Royal Infirmary A&E. The reception staff were pleasant but I had to repeat myself and what had happened to 3 different people there, after I had already explained my situation to 2 people during the 111 call. The waiting area was warm and stuffy, maybe investing in ceiling fans or even stand up fans would be beneficial to aid the already unwell patients that are waiting their turn. I went through to the next waiting area and had to explain my problems to 2 more nurses they helped me get on the bed but we're a little rough in doing so. They moved me to the middle waiting area on the bed where I waited for a cubicle (the overall waiting experience wasn't too long) I went in to a cubicle where again got asked by a different nurse what had happened. So the only thing I was a bit upset about was the constant different people and having to explain myself over and over. From that point on I had a pleasant experience, the nurse was very sympathetic and helpful she treat me with the uptmost respect. The Dr then came in (again had to explain what had happened) he thoroughly explained everything to me, was sympathetic and very respectful. I would highly recommend this hospital based on my experience.
"Pleasant staff"
