About: One Recovery Bucks / High Wycombe

(as a parent/guardian),

Our son has an alcohol problem but isn’t ready yet to admit to it.   We have been seeing One Recovery to help us cope with this situation. We find this service so valuable and it is certainly helping us.

Thankyou for taking the time to give us your feedback. It is great to hear that you are finding accessing our family service helpful and that it is helping you cope. We are really lucky to have the best two family workers we could have.

We understand that families and loved one can be seriously impacted their family members use. I do hope in time that your son finds the motivation he needs to make some changes, so you can all re-build as a family. In the meantime access our family service including the peer support group, you are not alone (although it can feel like that) with what you are going through.

Thank you for your reply. I find the support group so helpful with others experiencing similar problems. Also my sessions with my counsellor are so very helpful she is amazing. Thank you for the support it really helps.
