I was referred for genetic testing as a family member of whom several have had cancer. The main concern being breast and ovarian.

We expected the wait for the first appointment but it was worthwhile.

My husband accompanied me having just recovered from non hodgkinson lymphoma.

The respect, understanding and the time given to us and the clear explanation was very good.

We left with a much greater knowledge and after DNA testing the results were sensitively passed on and the follow up paper work most helpful.

It has enabled me to put at rest the passing on of the BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene

Iam very grateful for the time and patience shown to me and thank those involved.
