"Doctor was rude and unprofessional"

We should be very concerned. You cannot get a doctors appointment for weeks on end so I found myself suffering pain today and my only option unfortunately was to attend A & E. The staff were very polite and helpful. I think the last time I attended the north mid was to have my child and this would be 17 years ago. I waited from 7pm until 12pm and finally met a female doctor. She was rude and extremely arrogant. Also very defensive to the point my husband had to rein in her disgusting attitude. Whilst I understand the strain the NHS is under...it should not excuse poor behaviour. Thank God my symptons were not critical as I would not want this female doctor to assist me. My understanding is a letter will be sent to my GP so I will then have her full name to ensure I can record her behaviour with the relevant people how utterly dismissive and rude this individual was and I do not care what power you believe you have...you should not be in this profession if you can't handle being asked a question and clearly you can't. Lastly whilst we are in such a desperate position in regards to doctors and nurses etc. Such individuals as this doctor will continue to demonstrate such poor behaviour as the bar is set low due to such desperate times. So all other staff such as the blood nurse and triage nurse were amazing. And this one individual ruined the whole experience. 5 hours to meet with this unpleasant person. Let's hope she's not as awful to work with...I wouldn't want to come into that every day. Doctors and nurses do an amazing job and this one is letting them all down. I hope people take the time to review or complain to the relevant people otherwise doctors like this one will continue to behave badly and believe they can get away with it.
