"they literally saved my life"

About: Northern General Hospital / General surgery

I spent from September 2018 - Feb 2019 in hospital off and on and always ended up back at Firth 9 - The staff are caring and considerate right from the ward sister to the cleaning staff. My only criticism is that there are not enough Staff - The staff nurses and support workers work extremely hard and always make time for you when they are needed. If there was more of them this would take the pressure off the already overstretched staff. My Consultant and his clinical nurse are caring and considerate and you feel incolved in your care decisions - They always have your best interest at heart.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such lovely feedback. I have noted your comments about the staff being hard working but seemingly not enough of them. With support such as you have given this is a great morale booster to the staff involved and I will ensure your positive feedback is passed on to them as it makes such a big difference.

Kind regards.
