About: University Hospital Monklands / Care of the Elderly (Wards 14,20,22)

(as a relative),

As a retired nurse myself,i was very impressed to see that as nurses we still deliver a very high standard of nursing care for our patients

Thank you again for looking  after my  dear wife Mary who passed away peacefully on Monday.

Dear monklands,

Thank you for getting in touch at this difficult time; please accept my condolences on the passing of your wife Mary.

You'll know as a nursing professional yourself how staff who have been providing care can be affected when someone dies and I'm sure your kind words and recognition of their professionalism will bring them some comfort.

I've shared your feedback with the Senior Nurse for the Care of the Elderly DIrectorate who will in turn share it with the ward staff.

Our thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Thank you for your kind words, especially at this sad time for yourself.

The Nurses in the Ward try at all times to deliver care which is both compassionate and caring at the same time. I will inform the staff of your appreciation.
