I can’t fault the treatment provided by the maternity unit staff/midwife. I went in for a general checkup and was told my baby was too small for 37 weeks. Initially the doctor wanted to induce me on the Saturday but because my baby was breech they had to opt for c-section on the Monday. The whole procedure was done fairly quickly and although I had a lot of midwives they all provided excellent service and really did look after me especially two. One thing that did annoy me was that I booked a private room for myself in hopes that more visitors can see me in my room however the same 2 visitor rule applied despite paying £90 for the room. Otherwise excellent service from Newham general.
