(as the patient),

I went for a second opinion by another gynaecologist at the same hospital and the experience was completely different. Even though the decision was the same that surgery wasn't required at this time the member of staff treat me completely different. They explained in detail why surgery wasn't required and then explained other options what are available. They talked to me with respect and made me feel at ease. Even though they knew that I have mental health problems they never made an issue about it and I never felt judged on having a mental health problem, their attitude towards me was lovely and I left my appointment feeling completely different from the first time I went to see the other gynaecologist.
