"Clifden Centre (Sexual Health Clinic)"

I have been attending this clinic for the last two years for routine STI checks and recently for a course of HPV vaccination. All the staff I met has been great, from the receptionist to the healthcare assistants and the nurses: professional, caring, put me at ease, very competent. Occasionally there is a long wait for the walk-in services, but that’s just a consequence of being a busy clinic in an underfunded service - you can book appointments in advance to avoid the queue, though. I’m also very thankful that the NHS is offering HPV vaccinations for free to all men who have sex with men below the age of 40 - knowing that this has cut down my risk of throat and anal cancer is fantastic.
