"Enlarged Prostate and Urinary Catheter"

About: Kingskerswell & Ipplepen Med Practice

I wish to thank the Doctor at Kingskerswell Health Centre for the care and attention he has shown me during the last few weeks in helping me cope with the unfortunate infections I have had after my stay in hospital due to retention of urine within my bladder. I am awaiting a TURP operation and until then the urinary catheter has to remain within me. It has caused me and continues to do so considerable pain and discomfort. The catheter has been changed due to infection at Torbay Hospital and my Doctor was instrumental in this. Due to these many problems my pre surgical assessment appointment has been brought forward and I believe this was helped by the email my Doctor sent to my consultant surgeon. So once again thank you to my Doctor for all the help he has given me during this most stressful period. (Please note: this is my second voluntary review because you said as I named the Doctor it could not be accepted as I should respect his anonymity. I am rather puzzled by this as my review is to thank the Doctor not to make a complaint!!)
