"Lenghty inpatient stay"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Rheumatology

(as a volunteer/advocate),

Regarding Ward 8. At ward round not enough information is given. I feel that the doctors should be more open with me. Not sure what care plan is in place or indeed when I am likely to be discharged home. Nursing staff have been lovely and feel very well looked after by them. Ward environment is nice. Food is ok - not great but certainly edible.

Dear UHW2

Thank you for taking the time to provide comments in respect of your inpatient stay in Ward 8 here at University Hospital Wishaw.

I will ensure that your positive comments in relation to the nursing staff are fed back, and I have no doubt they will be delighted.

As you are currently an inpatient in the Ward, I would activley like to encourage you to raise any concerns that you have with any member of the nursing or medical team in the Ward so that they can try and assist you as early as they possibly can and provide you with the information that you require.

Thanks again for your feedback.

Best wishes

Faith
