I was pre-warned to stay away from mental health services but not being able to afford private therapy, I had no option. This is where staff actions (or in-actions) isn't considered a problem. Your reactions on the other hand, ARE considered a problem. You'll be seen as an irritant if you dare to question anything. Don't expect honesty or transparency or therapy. DO expect to be ignored and discharged as soon as possible. My advice? See this service for what it really is (harmful, dismissive) and stay away.
They tell you one thing, then do the opposite. They make empty promises. They feed off of your frustration. I would never go back. My sanity couldn't cope with their insanity.
PALS is useless, staff know this, and so they continue to get away with providing poor care. Not sure why staff want to work in mental health with this kind of dismissive attitude and not much empathy.
