"Very disappointing"

About: The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore) / Trauma and orthopaedics

Lots of problems with the way this hospital is run. Appointments constantly cancelled until you realise literally years have gone by. The last doctor I saw there didn't have a clue and hadn't read the notes. The nurse was openly hostile. Symptoms were mis-recorded. They failed to send me my records. A weird vibe hangs over the hospital which I think comes from an unhealthy attitude towards users of the service. There are some very good staff doing good work there, but it's full of unacceptable management failures that could have a detrimental effect on patient outcomes. To avoid that risk I'd say avoid it. There are much better hospitals.
