About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

In July 2019, I was visiting my father in ward 3E of Crosshouse hospital. Two lovely nurses named Mary and Irene catered for me and my visiting sister. Definitely going the extra mile to make us food and coffee.  They were also very friendly.  This must be so warming for people here in worse scenarios.  They deserve recognition for their services to their job.  As well as the whole department who I haven't got the chance to speak to as much as well as student nurses or those on placements

Dear learningkp98,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on care opinion. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for you when your dad was in hospital. As a team we recognise as well as providing care to the patient it is essential that support is given to the family.

Often at worrying times a cuppa and taking time to answer your questions can help make a difficult situation easier. Mary and Irene wil be delighted to read your feedback as am I.

I hope your dad is now recovering well. I will ensure your feedback is shared with the whole team.

Best wishes,

Christine
