"Excellent Midwifes, can’t thank them enough!"

I received fantastic care at Wishaw Maternity when baby was born in May this year.

Julie & then Marie looked after me during the birth and were brilliant. They kept informed and any decisions were made with all the information available. Marie identified issues at the end and her actions resulted in a safe delivery for both baby and I.

Dr Malcolm and the surgical team were very professional during my emergency section.

On the ward so many of the midwives were passionate about their jobs that the care, again, was excellent. In particular Sharon & Lois helped me during the night when baby would not sleep at all. I was shattered from the birth and they kept us both calm despite being busy. It really meant a lot to me.

I was in awe of the midwives I’ve named and hope they know the difference they make to people’s lives. I am so grateful that not only are we both safe but that we were looked after so well.
