"Support and Care during Cancer Treatment"

I have received genuine support during my battles with Oesophageal Cancer from the initial diagnosis, through chemotherapy treatment, extensive surgery and radiotherapy.

With the cancer returning after a year, I am now supported with treatment for depression due to the nature of the recurrence (unlikely to be curable). The doctors have always shown compassion and empathy for my situation in all respects covering cancer, depression and diabetes.

I could not wish for better care and understanding.

I do like the 'ask a Doctor a Question' element of the practice website as this allows me to discuss immediate issues without trying to get a physical appointment - I only hope that this saves the Doctor time and is not an unwanted distraction.

Also I have had the privilege to talk to a Doctor for a few minutes on the phone rather than attending an appointment, which did seem easier from my perspective.
