"Emergency admission 6th July 2019"

I was brought in as an emergency after tonsillitis led to peri tonsillar cellulitis and then quinsy.

I was given my own room and the staff were absolutely amazing. Every single one of them was friendly and caring and really looked after me. I cannot fault the whole experience.

I was in a great deal of pain and was very scared and they all did their best to reassure me - even popping back to see me at the end of the shift to check I was ok.

I was in for four days and the whole team deserve a medal.
