"Receptionist"

About: Claremont Holyport Surgery

had to leave a stool sample as requested by the doctor. The receptionist treated me like I was contagious & loudly asked what was the sample, when I said it was a stool sample, she then pulled faces & went to get a box & announced to the room that “we don’t touch those so put it right in the box. She kept pulling faces like I was going to plop it in her hand. It was in a plastic tub in a bag inside another bag inside a carrier bag that was tied!!!!

Talk about embarrassing & humiliation. I understand these receptionists think they’re gods gift, but they are really NOT. Think the whole dropping off of samples needs addressing & the receptionists needs re-training.

Dear Patient

I am sorry to hear of your recent experience.

Humiliating patients is not something I am happy to hear about.

Please can I ask that you call the surgery and ask to speak to me so that I can investigate this matter further.

Kind regards

Graham Collins

Practice Manager
