"Appointments System Is Ridiculous"

Having moved to this surgery from another outstanding surgery, I find the appointments system very outdated and it seems if your not desperately ill, you have to wait, or sometimes you can’t even get a pre-booked appointment, 2 weeks I have been suffering in agony and have to await a phone call from a doctor as there are no appointments available, I think this is disgusting and I will be returning to my old surgery where they know how to operate properly!!!

Thank you for taking the time to comment on this forum. We are diappointed that you feel that our appointment booking system is bad at present but unfortunately due to the unprecedented circumstances we have had to adapt the way in which patients come into the surgery and therefore all patients are triaged initially and only if essential is a face to face appointment booked. The practice is really sorry that you feel you have no option other than to return to your old surgery and thank you for your feedback as this provides us with valuable insight into our services from a patients perspective and allows us to reflect on practice performance. I hope your future experiences are of a more positive nature.
