"My care during my cataract surgery"

Here’s a shoutout for all the wonderful staff at both Stobhill and Gartnavel hospitals.

I cannot praise them all highly enough. After my surgery last year I developed a cataract and needed it removed, at my 1st consultation at Stobhill they found tiny holes at edge of the retina on my other eye (thank you Jenny, John, Dr  Al-Albiary & Dr Murdoch) so I was referred back to Dr Cox and his team at Gartnavel. Thank you to Jerry, Peter, Sherry, Anne, Tess, Kerton?, Amanda , student nurse Adam, Dr shams and Dr Cox. I had my cataract removed and cryo on my other eye. A special mention to Kerton? Who held my hand during my surgery. A special mention to student Adam as he listened to me when I told him I couldn’t see him as he was sitting in front of a window and he moved so I could see him while he explained about my eye drops and what I needed to do.

Dear Sharon the handcrusher

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback.

It is always heartening for our staff to receive such positive feedback. I will certainly pass your feedback back onto both the teams.

Kind Regards

Lesley
