I was diagnosed with MS some years ago and was seen by first Dr Wilson and then by Dr Davies at the Royal Free Hospital. Last year I was visited by Bhavani, who is now my MS nurse. Bhavani and her team have been very very helpful and supportive.
From checking that I was not having any financial problems to organising support rails and a better bathroom at home this team has been extremely helpful. The adaptations that have been made at home have given me more confidence do maintain my independence and have also had a positive impact on my health. Somehow I feel better and have been more active, even going to concerts sometimes with the support and encouragement from my family.
I feel better psychologically also as I know I can call Bhavani at any time and get the support I need. She tirelessly supports many people with MS and is a remarkable person.
"Support from everyone around me"
