"Outstanding service from a truly wonderful person"

I've been a patient of Dr Shahid for a few years now and no words are enough to describe how grateful I am for being under her care. I had previously been seen by two different doctors on the NHS - both who provided me with the wrong diagnosis, which caused me a huge distress. I was then lucky to become Dr Shahid's patient and she's been the first and only doctor who actually discovered my true condition. 

I had previously been diagnosed with PCOS (due to cysts showing up on the scan), but my blood tests showed very low hormones rather than raised. My gut instinct told me this wasn't right, and Dr Shahid then discovered that I in fact had a condition called HH (with underlying PCOS). From the very start, she's always listened to me  and tailored my treatment plan accordingly. She's extremely patient, takes her time and shows a huge amount of empathy. We've worked together to try out different medications and she's supported me to make necessary lifestyle changes. I'm 32 years old and was having symptoms equivalent to a menopause woman, including difficulties to sleep and low sex drive. I've now finally found a medication that works for me and it's completely changed my life - my hormones are getting back on track and I'm finally sleeping better after years of being sleep deprived. 

I can't thank Dr Shahid enough for what she's done for me - I wish all doctors would be like her. She's not only an extremely knowledgeable doctor but also a truly wonderful person who I would highly recommend to anyone.
