"Deep slash to my thumb!"

Arrived at 7.10 on Sunday.

Called to see nurse at 7.30! Really sweet gentle nurse who took my homemade bandage off carefully.

Asked me about when and how I did it. Checked no tendon damage or nerve damage. Carefully redressed the wound with advice about how to keep it clean and dry. Warned me about signs of infection/sepsis and stressed the need to seek help immediately if in any doubt!

Did not patronise or treat me like an idiot or comment on causing such a nasty injury to myself! lLeft feeling so much better! My thumb wrapped in a bandage so I could no longer flex it too much and keep re-opening the cuts. Would recommend this place to everyone! Many thanks for the professional and kind treatment.
