"Nervous prior to Ultrasound"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Radiology (X-rays and Scans)

(as the patient),

I had an ultrasound at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary this morning. I felt extremely nervous prior to it as I was unsure of what the results would be. From the minute I walked into the department and met Khadji (sorry if I've spelt your name wrong), I was put at ease with her very friendly manner. While I was in getting my scan she also chatted to my dad and put his mind at ease too. Amy performed my scan and she was great and made me feel instantly at ease. She explained everything to me throughout the scan and answered all my questions. Thank you so much, you are both a credit to NHS Grampian

Dear Angus86

thank you for taking the time to post your comments on care opinion at what appears to be a very anxious time for you and your dad.

I was heartened to read that you had found the staff both friendly and that they explained your procedure in detail to you

Positive comments such as these are a real morale boost for staff therefore I will be forwarding your post onto the staff concerned.

Thanks again

Yvonne
