Arrived by Ambulance at approximately 07.45.Severe pain in the groin area when walking following a fall a few days earlier. Quickly attended to by nursing staff who made various medical tests. all were polite and informative. later I was seen by Doctor who arranged an Xray of my hip and pelvic region. this showed no fractures, however to be extra sure Doctor arranged CT Scan. Again all clear. Thus deduced that I had a soft tissue problem. Moved to the Observation Ward where I was councilled and provided with a walking frame. With their help I was able to start walking again with reduced pain level. Following a stair safety test I was discharged and sent home by ambulance. At all times I was kept informed of what was going on, and all members of staff provided dignity and respect. Many thanks and Well Done Mayday
