"I was disappointed"

I first visited this clinic a few years ago and received excellent advice and treatment, including being given two pairs of insoles for shoes. These relieved the pain I get from walking. However, over the years these have worn out and the pain has returned. so I was pleased to learn that I could self-refer to go back.

I was very disappointed with the service I received under this new provider. I was examined and told that there was nothing the clinic could do as there was "no pathology". I explained that there was, and we knew that there was, because of the pain i was in at the end of every day. He just shrugged and said he couldn't see anything. I felt patronised and dismissed by the man dealing with me.

When I asked about replacement insoles he refused to provide any and said that the previous person who had seen me wasn't as qualified as he was and shouldn't have given them to me either. I left with no advice and am in the same pain, every day, as I was before I saw him.
