I have been a patient of this clinic for many years and have nothing but praise for the staff and health care professionals. I thought the bad doctors receptionist cliche was a thing of the past. Not according to my experience this week. After a 15 minute wait to speak to the reception regarding a GP that I was anticipating, the woman on the other end of the phone could not have been less considerate. From the beginning to end I was constantly talked over. Every time I uttered 2 words at the beginning of a sentence she would talk loudly over me.
I had major surgery that affected my vocal cords which resulted in speech therapy, so it is imperative that i talk slowly and finish my sentences to avoid my stutter returning. This member of your staff needs training with her ill mannered communication technique, as it leaves a lot to be desired. This kind of stuff let's your brilliant doctors and health team down loads.
