I arrived to A&E at 1:45 am and was discharged having been given the right treatment and medication just over two hours later. I attended with tonsillitis which was causing me extreme pain and not improving. In the short time that I was there, the team diagnosed me with quinsy, gave me pain relief, drained the abscess and gave me IV antibiotics, steroids and fluids. I am feeling so much better, the HCA, nurse and doctors that treated me were very good and I am definitely satisfied with the care I received.
