"Very good service in A&E and MAU"

Having attended A&E on Monday evening following a bout of AF, I was seen speedily in A&E where the staff that attended to me were brilliant, friendly and explained everything to me, despite many questions. This was my second visit in recent months and some of the staff were the same as last time. Because of a rogue blood test I was then admitted overnight to MAU. I didn’t want to be admitted, but realised it was the best thing to do. Again, the staff there were very understanding, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. Those who dealt with me are a credit to themselves and Chorley and District hospital. Thanks to all of them
