(as the patient),

Yesterday I was at my karate grading at westdyke community centre and I dislocated my left knee. I accidentally moved it and I screamed from the pain. When the ambulance crew came I was very relieved that I wouldn't have to bare this pain any longer and the crew corrected my dislocation then and there. A very kind and caring crew with high skill and knowledge. Thank you so much for saving me from agony xxxx

Dear Karate girl,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback on CareOpinion. I am very sorry to read that you dislocated your knee. I injured my knee years ago and dislocated my patella and it was agony so I feel your pain.

I am however very pleased to read that our crew looked after you in such a professional and caring manner. It always puts a smile on my face when patients describe our staff as highly skilled and/or knowledgeable. You wouldn't believe how many people who still feel that our crews are just first aiders with a licence to drive fast:)

I would really like to pass on your kind comments to the staff that attended you.
