A hospital is not necessarily a place you wish to be in but my treatment and experience was first class.
The staff worked so well together, looking after each other and the patents.
I am not used to hospitals, but the routine and ways they operated were made clear to me very early on. I had missed the ordering for dinner, but still food was found for me quickly and efficiently.
I was soon told that I needed a pacemaker and that as people usually came in with an appointment for this process, I would have to be fitted in, but early on I was told I would be home at the weekend, and that was very reassuring.
As I listened over my first few nights there, I soon came to realise what a wonderful job all the staff did. Dedicated, enabling, listening, attentive, understanding..it was just wonderful, and I cannot thank you enough. On top of this there were the Doctors, they made me feel so cared for and their attention to my condition was just so wonderfully kind. I felt held and loved.
Everything was handled so efficiently, nothing was overlooked,. Please thank the team who looked after me in 1.6 Cardiology....you have a team to be so proud of. A very happy and well looked after patient.
