What a wonderful team of nurses Hannah, Rachel, Lindsay and Jane are, they have delivered my treatment with compassion, humour, empathy and normality. I was always warmly welcomed into the daunting environment of the chemotherapy suite and I was made to feel like the person I am, not the patient that cancer made me. Feeling normal is something you crave once you start treatment as everything is outside of what normal was before cancer and it’s scary. They reassure you, cleverly distract you and gently ooze positivity whilst skillfully getting the job done.
