"Concerned"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

After a severe collapsed lung I was sent for a CT scan at the Golden Jubilee. Staff were great and very pleasant.

Left and was informed 4 weeks to get results back as they are backlogged up.

Received letter asking why I had not attended even though I had. After 6 weeks have chased and now being told 7 weeks minimum.

Thought this was the flagship hospital for reducing waiting times. Now cant get a response or accurate timescale.

Now more concerned as breathing now laboured and pain returning.

Dear Flagship Hospital

Thank you for your post regarding your recent visit to us. I was pleased to read that the staff were great and very pleasant whilst you were with us, however I was disappointed to read regarding the waiting times for your results. I would be pleased if you could contact me on 0141 951 5951, alternatively feedback@gjnh.scot.nhs.uk to allow me to look into this for you.

I would stress that should your symptoms continue to worsen, please seek medical advice from your GP or local A&E.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Paula
