"care unlike any other"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres

(as the patient),

to say thank you sometimes is not enough,

I have been coming to hairmyres outpatients for sometime now and i always see the same friendly staff but i would like to thank one in particular Gordon, nothing is too much for this lovely young man. on more than one occasion he has been called to take my bloods as no one else can get them (not that they are bad at it) just that he seems to have a way of getting it first time. He is always willing to help and cheerful. the reason for this post is on my last visit I had a few questions that no one seemed able to answer, he took the time to try and find answers for me and after we were finished he helped me to find my son who i lost he told me he would be at the cafe but was not so i returned to the department and Gordon came with me to look for him.

this kind of behaviour goes above and beyond and is displayed by all the staff in outpatients but on a day i was feeling low and full of questions he helped and understood i needed someone to take time to talk with me

Dear Briggs,

Thank you for taking the time to leave such positive feedback. Your comments are greatly appreciated and I shall ensure that they are passed on to Gordon and the rest of his team.

Best wishes,

Jamie
