"IThey saved my life!"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as the patient),

Having been bullied for an extended period of time in the workplace.

Plus my mum was dying from cancer and the bully saw it as an opportune moment to up the ante! This resulted in having severe depression, anxiety and actions leading towards agrophobia.

At the point of no longer wanting to live (which I had shared with no one) I knew I needed to take up the offer of help. It took all I had to walk through the door of Inclusion and sceptical anything could work!

The environment created with my therapist was a safe place , never judged and allowed me to be honest and open to the CBT techniques which very quickly gave me results and confidence to move forward.

I am on the road to recovery and although at the beginning of this journey I now want to live! I will be forever grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown.

Good Morning Lori 1,

I just want to say thank you for sharing your experience and hope that it can help others struggling who are apprehensive about accessing therapy through Inclusion Thurrock.

We are so sorry you had to experience such awful behaviour at work whilst living with the loss of a parent. Thankfully you were able to walk through the door at Inclusion and were open to the help and support we were able to offer you. The team try really hard to create a welcoming and relaxing environment for people as we understand how difficult it can be to take those initial steps through the door. Our team of experienced and professional individuals are a lovely bunch who create that safe place for those in need. They try to think of everything they can to make your experiences the best they can be in difficult times right down to the calming lavender aroma in reception. We are so pleased you have learned techniques to help you, and hope that you will continue to grow in confidence.

Take care, thank you

Grace
