About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Xrays and Scans

(as a service user),

I recently attended the Radiotherapy Department at Gartnavel Hospital for a scheduled MRI scan. As I am highly claustrophobic, I found the prospect of this to be potentially distressing. However, due to the care and support provided by Pamela, Daniel and Lorraine, I was able to undergo this procedure with considerably less anxiety than I had anticipated. Pamela in particular took the time to fully explain the process involved in obtaining the scan and was able to provide me with the necessary reassurance which I required. Pamela and her team consequently demonstrated a level of care and understanding which I believe should be highly commended. I am extremely appreciative of their efforts in this regard.
