"Low staffing numbers"

About: Rampton Hospital / National High Secure Healthcare Service for Women

(as the patient),

The one problem here at the moment is our Therapy getting cancelled due to low staffing numbers on the wards and then the Therapy Team having to go to wards to make up Staffing Numbers.

Thank you for this feedback. Overall the level of activities in the hospital has been really good. But I agree that staffing pressures resulting from hospital appointments or clinical activities mean we have to cancel things. I am sorry this has happened to you and I hope things will improve soon.

Best wishes

Peter

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry that therapy sessions sometimes have to be reluctantly cancelled at short notice, to help support the wards with increased clinical activity.

The TED managers and I work closely with the site manager to look at all other options before closing sessions as a very last resort.

We appreciate how much you value your sessions and hope that things get back to normal soon.

Kind Regards

James
