About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Cardiology

after experiencing a heart attack on Friday morning I was rushed into Treliske this was out the blue totally unexpected the paramedics were at my house within 4 minuets and were professional polite and I am sure their actions went towards making my situation comfortable by putting my mind at rest

I have to say the treatment in the wards was fantastic the staff were caring and pleasant right down to the tea lady and cleaners nothing was to much of a problem for them I cant thank the enough it turned a horrible experience into a bearable one even the food was good with plenty of it cant praise the staff enough was a horrible experience made bearable by the professionalism of all involved a big thank you all x x x

Firstly, please may I apologise for the delay in responding to you on here. And secondly, thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience of our hospital and the paramedic service.

It is wonderful to read that the professionalism and kindness of our staff helped to turn your horrible experience into a more bearable one. Although I am responding to you from the Patient + Family Experience Team here at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, I will ensure that your kind words, praise and thanks are shared with the teams who looked after you.

As you posted shared your story a few weeks ago, I hope that you are recovering well from your heart attack and able to enjoy the lovely sunshine.
